When a 19-year-old motorbike rider sees the California Highway Patrol coming in the other direction, he loses focus mid-corner and lowsides his bike. The impact looks pretty hard and his jeans are instantly shredded!

The motorcycle laws should be the same in America as they are here in the UK, start off at a 125CC and then have to be 24 years off age to have a full licence to own a bike of your choice, not once you’ve passed your test you can ride anything! But I hope the guy is ok!
Laws like that is why stuff like Roadkill couldn’t survive in the UK.
I disagree. I learned on a 250cc bike. It was small and didn’t have nearly enough power. If you ever found yourself in a situation where you had to pour on the speed and get out of the way of something while riding a 125, you’d be screwed. Plus, I can’t imagine a 125cc being any fun. And having to be 24 to get to choose any bike and a full license is ridiculous. Maybe having that privilege after a year of riding would be better.
Still, I payed my fees and passed my tests. I should be allowed to ride whatever I like. A person’s age does not matter, a person’s maturity and skill does. If I had to wait until 24 I probably would never even ride. I don’t see why other’s stupidity should limit my options.
Note the cops crossing the double yellow in the turn right before that. Wouldn’t be surprised if thats what caused the accident.

Ummm, that corner is actually screwed up, even cars will do that there. Not totally his fault. Seriously go look around youtube, thats exactly why the camera was there. Him falling had nothing to do with the cop.

It takes 0.3 seconds to go from skin to bone at 30mph allegedly. Plus, if you’re going to get pulled over you may as well do it in style. If you’re caught you’re caught, might as well enjoy it.
IMO, Helmet, good jacket, jeans and boots are a minimum when riding a sport bike.
