PC Gamers Rejoice: Forza 6: Apex Is Coming To Windows 10, And It’s Free-To-Play
If you’re a PC gamer and want to get in on some Forza action, we have two lots of very good news. Firstly, we have Forza Motorsport 6: Apex to look forward to, which will be available for free for all Windows 10 users from spring.
It’s a little like a cut-down version of Forza 6, and from launch, it’ll feature 12 ‘themed’ racing events, over 60 cars and a new objective system. Everything is unlockable through gameplay, although it’s possible that a system of microtransactions might be brought in, should any gamers want a shortcut.
The second chunk of news is more significant. Rather than being a commercial venture, Apex is intended to be a showcase of where the Forza Motorsport series is going in the future. Why? Because all future titles will be released for both the Xbox One and for PCs. Good news indeed.

I just can’t get happy about this until I see how they manage to snub the game by deleting 3/4 content or putting it behind a paywall. Really hoping they still allow car modification and online play.

No steering wheel support and limited cars+W10 only (from what I understand) are the only reasons Im steering clear of it.
Even if I wanted to try it, I just cant justify a Windows 10 install at the cost of everything thats bad about that operative system (which for advanced users like me, is quite a lot).
Personally Im still sticking with Windows 7, AC and rF.
But for those who do have Windows 10 (I`m assuming theres a bunch) and want a quality gamepad-oriented racegame (which is what Forza with controller is, and probably the best at that too), Im sure Forza 6 “lite” on PC will fill that void then some!
I’ll be waiting for Horizon 3 on PC then. Please make it happen.

so you need to install windows 10 to play the game for free…. I see what they did there, still not installing windows 10

It works fine
Free To Play just means its a cash grab with pay walls and micro transaction, Il stick to the Console i think
