We’ve just released a new version of our Android app (1.16)! #CTapp

Team CT is happy to announce that a new version of the Android app is here! RIGHT NOW!

Just go to the Google Play Store to download the update!

What’s new:

• Totally new Discover section!
• Image Viewer can be closed with a finger swipe
• Custom sounds for push notifications
• Bug fixes and improvements

Discover

We saw a big interest from our CTzens in the trending section, so we decided to improve it by making it beautiful and more complete.

It’s now easier and more fun (we think, but we might be wrong) to discover trending or recommended communities to join or users to follow.

So, go crazy with it and follow who you want and join the communities that you like!

Close the image viewer by swiping

A lot of people have given feedback recently about how to close the image viewer. So to improve the user experience you can now swipe away images as well as tapping the back button as usual.

Custom sounds for push notifications

This is probably the funniest/useless new feature of this version. No need to explain it more really.

How?

In your app, go to Settings, Notifications, Push notifications and then click on Notifications sound. You should see the list below full of awesome (or not) sounds.
