This Mitsubishi Lancer was left by Lake Eerie, New York, after its owner decided not to drive home after having drinks with friends. On returning, he found that his car had been entombed in ice. Now though, it's free to hoon another day!

Fun story of the day: This occurred about a half hour from where I live… and that storm is a Class A example of why I prefer something with 4x4!! Cheers and drive on, K
since Mitsubishi shut down the prduction of Evo’s they are in danger of extintion so…. SAVE THE EVO’S¡¡¡¡¡ it’s like watching when green peace guys save a wounded or trapped seal xD

Rescued? They barely pulled it out of the ice.
Seems a bit…. heavy handed.
If it’s warmed up a little weather wise and during the day a pump with as warm a water (not hot) as possible and melt the ice on the door and in the lock.
Once inside, get the engine started and let it warm up before applying gentle revs to get it up to temperature and let it sit and see if it warms it up enough after an hour or so for anything bonded to free up at the front.
Looks slushy, so as much warm water around the wheels so you don’t have do the risky pull it free nonsense…
Of course, if it is as cold enough to just refreeze water… yup. That.
Did they make another Lancer out the ice mold?
Just put some bass music on your 1000 Watt system, volume to the max and watch it break.
