Watch The Glorious Moment This Mitsubishi Gets Rescued From Its Icy Tomb

This Mitsubishi Lancer was left by Lake Eerie, New York, after its owner decided not to drive home after having drinks with friends. On returning, he found that his car had been entombed in ice. Now though, it's free to hoon another day!

What kind of damages will the ice have caused to the car? Other than emotional, of course.

the paint is probably pretty scratched up where it slid out of the ice, at least.

I noticed the license plate was bent, but that’s easily (and cheaply) replaced.

I was actually hoping for a very satisfying video of the ice just pulled of the car in a single layer…. But this is nice too

Got scared when they were pulling it sideways by the tops of the wheels. Looked like it was going to bend the axle or snap the wheels off.

The ground is covered in ice, so that would be a very unlikely scenario.

this is how evos are born.. much like butterflies, the lancer isolates itself in an ice cocoon for an indeterminate amount of time and grows into a beautiful lancer evolution then sets itself free from the ice once its ready to go race subarus…
