Not electronics it aerodynamics, able to get much more downforce for less drag, electronic suspension was banned as is traction control etc.

Damn Kubica. What a driver he was… It is so unfortunate that these crashes happened. I think that he would be the best nowadays if not these mistakes :/

The engine noise in the 90’s is super irritating. It’s not a pleasant noise. Am I the only one who loves the turbo V6 noise? The V10 is amazing too, but the cars have definitely gotten faster over the years. There’s not a huge difference in lap times anyhow. JP Montoya might have the all-time lap record, but still. F1 is only getting better. The FIA is starting to loosen its grip. 2016 should be an even better season.
