I have always loved these types of builds and the few times I seen them while living on Okinawa I freaked out and took a million pictures. It’s always been something I appreciate but probably wouldn’t do myself. A more subtle 330 Cedric/Gloria hardtop sedan with a Rebello built L28 on a triple carbs setup would be my ultimate cruiser in the future.
This style has always been my guilty pleasure.
I take inspiration from this scene for years. My Mazda is tame in comparison

Bozo is a lifestyle of no regrets. If you don’t love it for what it is, respect it. Or don’t, the bozos don’t give a damn what you think if you’re going to be negative.
I love these things! You only see it in Japan. I feel like doing this here in the US just for a HUGE f*ck you to everyone hating.
I.e. give me the definitions of both rice and bosozoku and explain how they are seperate from each other
ricers dont know that what there doing is just stupid, bosozuku’s do.
There is no difference, both bosozoku and “ricers” are doing it just right if they drive cars they like. Unlike you, hating on people with a different taste..
The difference is in the mindset behind the builds. These guys know they are being obnoxious and their cars are a way of expressing rebellion. I can’t explain rice for you.
