If merely watching The Grand Tour isn’t involving enough for you, we’d like to present news you’ll find welcome.

Amazon Game Studios is launching ‘The Grand Tour Game’, an ‘episodic’ title that’ll let you replay moments of each episode from the first two series yourself. What’s more, once the third instalment of TGT kicks off, an playable ‘episode’ will be launched each week to tie in with the real thing.

There'll be a four-player split-screen mode, but other than that, we don't know a huge amount about the game
There'll be a four-player split-screen mode, but other than that, we don't…

Details are fairly limited at this stage, but presumably, the game’s launch will coincide with the debut of series three, which is expected to be in December. It’s not clear if users will have to pay for the game itself or additional episodes - it could be that everything is included for anyone with an Amazon Prime membership.

What we have been given is a bunch of quotes from the three stars themselves, who’ll be lending their own voices for the game.

Jeremy Clarkson said: “It’s a video game featuring me, the crashy one, and the slow one. That’s all you need to know. If you’ve always wanted to come on the road with us, this is as close as you’ll ever get. Unless you kidnap James and steal his face.”

James May added: “If you’ve ever wanted to do my job, now you can. Obviously not literally, it’s just a game, so please don’t go through the drawers of my desk.”

Finally, Richard Hammond: “I live in the deep countryside, so frankly I’m impressed by anything that runs on electricity. But I have to admit this game is particularly brilliant, especially the four-player splitscreen.”

All very informative, I’m sure you’ll agree. Reckon you’ll be playing once this lands? Let us know in the comments.

I know Amazon have their own game engine, if this is what the game runs on I have to say it looks really impressive visually

jesus christ and people are criticizing SuperStreet for not meeting their standards.

as a game, it looks horrible. it genuinely looks straight out of a mobile game and from the trailer, can barely stay above 20 FPS. also the UI looks straight from Gear.Club but lets ignore that…

also, no pc port :(

I’m not gonna lie, I like the graphics, they’re so simplistic.
