Glad Ronin made it on here, that movie was insane!
I don’t get why it was Nicholas “You don’t say” Cage’s Gone in 60 Seconds that was on the list, instead of the HB Halicki’s 1974 one. I mean in the original film the Mustang chase scene was around 40 minutes long and a tense one, something a Hardcore NFS Most Wanted 2005 player would experience (only without police SUVs and Vettes). In the end of the chase, Halicki’s character has to find another yellow Mustang because it was a rolling wreck after that excrutiatingly long police chase (and he found one in a car wash, all while changing his disguise to escape police attention). The 40-minute chase scene was so tense and so great that a few years ago someone uploaded the 40-minute long Eleanor chase scene on YouTube. That emasculates the 2000 version’s Eleanor chase by the distance between The Moon and The Earth.
wasn’t the hero car in Ronin a pre-facelift E34 M5 and the stunt cars pre and post facelift 525 and 535’s??
