My exhaust is quite rusty and has a blowing back box, am I better off getting a custom system rather than trying to source an original part, surely a custom one would last a lot longer as well as maybe even cost a bit less?
This looks so cool, where could I get this carbon dash piece from? or should I try and do a water transfer on mine?
Do you go for the premium stuff or normal, are there any good figures showing why premium fuel is better?
I recently had to pull the dash apart to clean out some bugs and gunk that somehow got under the dashboard glass, and now the speedo needle is sitting below the 0. Is there an easy way to electronically calibrate it, or do I have to tear back in?
I’d really like to delete the rear emblem, but I’m not sure what’s underneath. Is it just glued in place, or is there something else (like pins or alignment holes) that I’m going to be leaving behind? I would like a clean look and to avoid body work if possible.
Most manufacturers tell you that its sealed for life but I think I’d like to change it anyway, for my own piece of mind! Anyone done this and felt much difference?
Wanna get a backup bottle of coolant, Im not losing fluid but I like to have some in case of the odd top up. Anyone recommend me some good stuff?
I would really like to set up an aftermarket setup on my car, but I don’t want anything too brappy or loud. I want something that has a really nice low tone but will also give me good power improvements. Any recommendations?
Hey guys, so I just had a brake job done on the wife’s car at the ford dealer, and I’ve been noticing a lot more brake dust than normal. it’s been about a month and my wheels are totally sooty. This might be partially due to winter roads, but it’s never been this bad before. Did ford start using a different brake pad compound or something that would make this happen? Braking seems fine but I hate having my wheels get so dirty so quickly!
I just got a ticket for having lights mounted too high on my Jeep. (I didn’t really think it mattered if they weren’t on). Anyways, this got me thinking, what’s the dumbest ticket you’ve ever gotten in any of your vehicles?
What made you choose you Discovery, what did your shortlist look like and what made you choose it over the others?
I’m doing some upcoming routine maintenance on the truck next weekend, and I’m wondering when the right time to do an oil change for the rear dif is. The truck has about 80k on it at the moment, but I don’t think it’s ever been changed in the past.
I really like the look of wide and meaty tires, but I’m not sure how big I can go on my stock ride height without getting excessive rubbing issues. I’m willing to put up with some rubbing, but I don’t want it to be crazy. How big can I go without problems?
