Went back to stock form for about a week. Took the Big Mouth off and the RS airbox lid with K&N filter today after work. Just for going to the dealership to get the whole car checked over, an oil change, and get the bluetooth software figured out, because my bluetooth hasn’t been working since I got the car pretty much. It feels irresponsible of me to not have the whole car looked over since I bought it.
When showing off the new airbox and filter one of my friends noticed the ticking sound I hear when the engine is cool or cold. He thinks it might be lifter tick. I don’t know when the last oil change was done, so that’s next on the list. I’m going to make an appointment for Monday or Wednesday at the dealership to see if it’s an actual problem and to check out the whole car. Like a full inspection of everything. Has anyone experienced the ticking sound when the engine is cold?
I’m getting ready to add my ST1 to the garage, what are some suggestions for what you think you guys would want to see in the post? Pictures, description, plans, stuff like that.
Drove Victoria down to Daytona Beach from Jacksonville for a weekend getaway. Clocked about 200 miles going there, while in Daytona, and coming back home. The drive on the highway was exillerating. Crisp, clean acceleration, nimble handling around turns and corners, and smooth. A lot more than I can say about Betty.
