I just made a post and it cut off half the text
12 years ago it was mentioned that the VE Commodore would be the make-or-break car for Holden, but in the end it wasn’t even their choice to make. First Chrysler/Mitsubishi went, then it was Ford, now it’s Holden and Toyota. We only have Elfin left.
The last Australian made Holden is due to roll off the assembly line in about an hour.
At least there were a ton of Holdens new and old hanging around the main entrance of the factory, I wish my baby girl could’ve made it, but you know how project cars go

Actually, I always get writer’s block, but this particular blog series (yes, series) is really taking forever. When I have time to add a bit to it, I do a little, then my brain starts to melt. I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew. Good thing I don’t do this for a living, otherwise I’d be eating dust and drinking saliva. I’ve always hated paperwork and this is entirely paperwork, but it would be useful information so I’ll press on and do what I can on days where I get a bit of free time
I’m genuinely curious what you guys and gals prefer. Blow off valve (Braaaaaah psssshhhhh), no blow off valve (braaaaaaah stututututu) or full recirculation (sleeper spec)?
Personally I think there’s a place for all of these options, but I generally prefer no blow off valve, even though turbo surge isn’t healthy, besides, a blow off valve is illegal where I live
Supra had a tidy bodykit and no wing and sounded aggressive, even for a 2JZ, really deep and bassy. Both Silvias looked pretty close to being twins, they took off side by side and as I was turning off, I heard one backfire during a gear change and sounded really sweet
If you have either of these 3 cars (northern suburbs of Adelaide), respect to your mad rides
Me waiting to turn into a road in traffic “I see a gap coming up. I’m going to be using half throttle and gradually increasing throttle so I can quickly merge with traffic without slowing anyone down”
Open diff on damp road “lol, Traction? What’s that? Vvvvvvrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeee”
