Looking to do a HID conversion for fog lights as I’m not very happy with their level of brightness. Can anyone point me in the right direction in terms of the bulb size and the brightest HIDs possible?
Any good induction kits for the Abarth? looking to hear a bit more turbo noise
The tires always have a maximum tire pressure, but how close to that pressure are you actually supposed to fill your tires up to? I have been doing like 5-10 under, but I wanted to hear your opinions on this. Should it change for hot to cold weather?
Been looking at the likes of k&n and pipercross panel filters, are they any good? or are modern air boxes and standard filters the best you can get
What has been your running costs so far with your car? any big bills or recurring problems?
Whoever owned the car before me was obviously either unlucky or unable to back up properly. As a result of this, I have a lot of little scuffs and scratches in the rear bumper that are basically too big for touch up paint. What do you y’all think is a fair price to repaint a rear bumper? I don’t need any crazy body work, just a scuff and new coat.
Is there any truth to this? I’ve been researching some ways to get better grip for launches, and apparently people remove their front swaybar for better weight transfer to the rear at launch. The way I understood swaybars was to help side to side roll, not necessarily weight transfer.
Is this a proven tactic or just a myth?
Seen a few of these around and heard mixed results, but has anyone actually used the stuff and got some kind of result out of it?
Just did a test drive of one from my local dealer, it had the dog box so was a bit difficult to get use to. But what a machine! in such a small package as well.
I just installed some longtubes from pacesetter and as soon as the car warmed up the header paint all burned off. Is this not hi temp paint? I was a little worried at first by all the smoke but it stopped once the paint burned off. Is there some sort of paint that would actually stay on without burning like this? I’ve heard some people mention bbq paint, but it seems a bit sketchy to me.
I drive my R33 quite hard, and I do a decent amount of hard launches. I’ve noticed recently that my rears have been spinning a lot more, and I feel like I’m not getting at much grip up front. Could something be going wrong drivetrain wise?
My headlights are foggy and have been that way for years. After seeing a nice set of headlights in a parking lot on another A4, it’s really making me want to tackle it. Has anyone had good luck with headlight restoration kits, or would it be better to just upgrade with a new set?
I was using my fogs last night, and all I could keep thinking was how useless they were. They were aimed so low, I could barely see the beams.
