I recently bought a used 2000 323Ci, there are one or two issues with it, mainly being rust. But thats not the point. A more pressing matter is that the airbag light for the passenger airbag is on, the airbag was replaced in a bmw workshop just a little over 6 months ago (i have the recet) and supposedly works just fine. But the light is still on and inspection is due in 4 weeks, does anybody know some tricks surrounding this?

I am (hopefully) buying my first e46 tomorrow, its a stock 2000 323Ci and i was wondering, what should i look out for? Are there any tell tale signs of soon-to-be big issues?
