So I have a rolling shell of a car (1971 Dodge Dart) and I have the block of a 360 and a 60mm turbo laying around, so I’m thinking I could make 600-700 horsepower and I doubt it but is that fast enough to run 8’s?
Looking for a jeep yj and I was wondering what there is to check for rust or anything to check in general
My 2001 dodge Dakota smokes, but it has been sitting for a lot of years. It only has 80,000 miles on it so I’m not sure why it smokes. The PCV valve is oily inside so we ordered a new one, but would that cure the smoking? Smoke is coming out of exhaust after you let it run for a while, not at first start up, and a little out of the valve cover breather after you shut it off. Please help
I hate to say this, but I want a modern muscle car. Either a challenger or camaro, and it has to be a v8. Can I get one for under $6,000?
I mean real cheap, being a high school student and all. I know it’s unrealistic but sometimes you just find a good deal out there…
For me, even though I’ve never driven a muscle car, it’s the whole idea about brute strength, and the simplicity of it while it still manages to work. For example, people are out there using 6 piston brakes, and the brake caliper off of a 71 dart swinger is either one or two piston, and I just thought to myself “that’s so muscle car-like and I love it. In general, I just love the whole “can’t stop, can’t turn, do burnouts without a care in the world” kind of thing. Anyway, what’s your guys’ favorite thing/things about muscle cars.
