Were there any other cars on your shortlist before buying the Evo?

Wondering what you guys prefer in terms of coils for 1Gs. What are good brands/brands to maybe avoid?

I know that lifter tick is a really common problem on these cars, and my car does it as well. Are there any ways to make it stop? It doesn’t really seem to effect the way the car functions at all, it’s just sort of annoying to have the tappet noise constantly happening.

I’m pretty sure being DSM owners, we’ve all had our fair share of repairs. What have you had to replace so far?

I can hear a little bit of a ticking noise coming from under the hood when I start the car up, but by the time I get around to opening the hood and checking it’s gone. I guess this means it’s not that big of an issue, but is this normal to hear? Does it mean my car is on it’s way out or what? SR20 turbo

Any know a fix for my Breras wobbly seat? I am getting used to it but when I do notice it its so irritating!

If you already have, whats it like compared to your old car? and if you are looking to, whats making you do it?

I always think the shift knob says a lot about the car. What shift knob are you using at the moment?

One of my buddies actually was the one to point this out, but when my car cold starts, it has a ticking sound coming form what sounds like the top end of the engine. One the engine is warm, it no longer seems to have an issue. Any ideas what this could be/ if I should worry about it?

I have an evo 8, are parts interchangeable between all the 7, 8 and 9 models, or do certain parts need adjusting to fit. I think of things like lights and bumpers.
