Remember to say the car and also any other factors like location etc.
I know that Evo’s are fairly easily tunable engine wise. But what can the drivetrain take? Driveshafts and gearboxes and stuff, what needs replacing/upgrading at what stage
I really like some of the bov sounds you hear on tv and in the movies, but I’m not really sure which ones are which. What bovs do you guys prefer over others?
I’ve always wondered about the capacity of these engines. I mean other than the compression ratios, they’re essentially the same thing as the 3000GT engines right? How much boost could you hypothetically push with a stock compression ratio without running into risky territory?
Is this possible, ad what are the advantages and disadvantages to doing this on an AWD car?
I don’t really want to be too targeted towards anything (straightline speed versus handling), but I’d like something that’s a good all around wheel. Just wondering what you’re experiences are with this and what you guys would recommend. Right now I have 16” wheels on the car, and they do feel a bit soft through the corners sometimes.
I do love the sandard seats in the Evo, however I’d love to have some racing harnesses fitted, how would I go about this? do I need to lose the rear seats?
Looking for a decent company to map my car, its a 260. It has been mapped before but the guy I bought it off didnt know what map it was?! it has a cat back exhaust, mushroom filter as well as an uprated fuel pump, any guidance on reuptable companys?
I’m just wondering if there are any fixes to a scratched window other than replacing it. The scratches aren’t incredibly deep, but is there a way to “buff” glass like you can buff the clearcoat on a car?
I’ve noticed that lately when I’ve been launching my car, it’s been pulling very hard to the left. Normally, it will pull left or right a bit which was easy to control, but now it is severely pulling left every time and I have to yank the wheel to keep it in control. This only happens on hard wheelspin type launches. I’m unsure as to whether this is due more to a suspension deal or a drive train issue or possibly traction control or something?
