Ive posted 2 tikes already if anyone can tell me is it true that the s-tronic dsg in a3 from 2006-2012 is reliable and noone is answering… Do all of you guys drive manuals ot what? :/

Thinking of buying the 2006-2012 a3 2.0 disel (170ps) with s-tronic… Read that they had some problems with that transmission but im here asking you guys that have it or have had it to tell me is it a reliable transmission or not? :/

Thinking of buying the 2006-2008 or 2008-2012 A3 2.0 disel with s-tronic… Read a lot about it some say its the best gearbox ever, other say its very unreliable and expensive to fix if broken and when broken… About the engine i didnt read that much but didnt come across any bad things about the engine… Any of you have what im looking for and know if i should buy it or stick to manual or whatever? Thx guys, btw im new to the carthrottle app…
(Also very sad that there is no 2006-2012 a3 170hp quattro with s-tronic 😫😭 would much rather get that but i guess ill have to live with front wheel drive)
