As the title suggests, a few months back, I was driving along in my neighborhood and outside a parking lot I saw a clean, stock Cefiro parked at the end of the parking lot, but what caught my attention is the GTS-R 2.4 lettering on its doors… I researched about it and turns out it’s a powered by a 2.4l carbed RB engine (note I do own a Honda in the U.K, but I don’t live there, I only visit for 2-3 months each year) I’m not proffering my homeland’s location on a social app so please respect that, back to the main subject, according to forums and experts, the RB24S powered trim was sold in South America (I think?) a few parts of Africa and the Middle East.
Specs aren’t plentiful since it’s a rare engine, all what I know it’s that it’s carbureted and is naturally aspirated making 141hp, it’s a pretty interesting engine since a carburetor on a not-so-old-engine seems a bit weird, but then again, it’s simpler than fuel injected versions and is cheaper to make.
