When doing my oil change and oil filter. There is a long bolt that keeps the old filter cap tight. On that long bolt there is a tiny rubber ring at the end of it that gets changed. I have a tiny metal hook I use to pry it off but looks like I have slightly bent the end of that bolt using too much force. How else should I remove that tiny rubber ring so I won’t encounter this problem again?
The smoke smelled smokey and a little burning smell. I turn off the car engine and looked underneath there were no leaks, I could not pinpoint where the smoke was coming from under my hood. I am suspicious of my valve cover gasket, can anyone confirm?
