I love the car community but am I the only one who feels like Initial D is a stain on jdm? In general I don’t like anime but I tried watching it once regardless because I love cars so much but in my opinion it was terrible. Initial D fans have ruined my thoughts of a yellow fd rx7 because I’ll get so many cringy initial D fanboys making references. Does anyone else feel similarly?

Not trying to offend anyone, but if you publicly like the show then I’m entitled to publicly dislike it.

I want to buy an nsx or an rx7 but only have 20,000$. I have seen two go for less than 20 but something must be fishy, right? Should I just go for an fd rx7?

Help would be appreciated.

I expect this to get no replies, I have looked at a factory five 33 but that appears to be the only one and it doesnt feature anything modern
