This past weekend, I went into a ranked speedlist on Payback, and shortly after I loaded in, I got a message saying “The save file has gone corrupt and could not be reached. Continuing will overwrite the save file.”, and I was given the option to X: Restart or O: Overwrite (X and Circle button on The PS4 controller, they’d be A and B on an Xbox One). Obviously I freaked out, as I had been playing the game since launch, and who else wants to lose a couple months worth of work? I didn’t touch anything, closed the application, and removed the disc. After waiting a minute or two, I put it back in, and it loaded up without any problems. Oh well…

Just last night though, it gave me the same message. I did what I did before, but it didn’t work. I tried at least 5 more times, then it got stuck on the “Loading Save Game” screen. All I did was sit there, dumbfounded. I needed some time to think, so I turned off my PlayStation (I usually put it in rest mode) and went upstairs for a bit, trying to look for something to fix it. All I found were some YouTube videos in complete Spanish with no English subtitles. I gave up and rested my mind for an hour, then went back downstairs and booted the game up. It at least loaded up, and gave me the option to reset or overwrite, and then I just pressed overwrite. Surprisingly, it loaded everything I had, and even after turning off my PlayStation again, and coming back to it this morning, it worked with no error message. I attempted to do some more research on the topic, but there was virtually nothing.

I’m asking you guys as a COMMUNITY to please leave your thoughts and suggestions on this in the comments, and to spread the word about it. I feel there may be someone out there with the same problem, and I want to work together with people like you to try and solve it.

So I noticed that all you’ll see in a speedlist is the RSR 2.8 and the Regera. The RSR is still OP from the last game, and needs to be nerfed. If you’re circuit racing you can can combat it with the Beck Kustoms F132, but you’ll suffer in sprint races, as it doesn’t have the speed the RSR does. It’s the same case when going against Regeras (Regera literally cannot corner). Now I had tried all sorts of cars, but last night for a meme I bought an X6 M and got it to level 399. My friend and I got into a speedlist, and there was an M4 GTS, a Regera, a Camaro Z28, and an RSR as well as some other cars I couldn’t remember. My loadout is always varied for my race cars, but for offroad I use a 304 Bel Air. Why not 399 you might ask? Well-for me at least-399 offroad cars have the speed, but too much wheelspin in the corners. My Bel Air wins me races, and I don’t wanna change it, beides, offroad is primarily corners anyhow. Now call me basic, but I use a 399 RX-7 for drift. The first race was an offroad one, and I beat 399 Evos and the poor souls that use the RSR for offroad at 399 too, as well as other derelict cars. Then came a sprint race. It was time to see if my sim simma (who got the keys to me bimma) X6 M would even place in the top five.

Now I don’t know if I was against some really sucky players, but it absolutely decimated. I came first every race except one, where the Regera pulled a Regera and repeatedly smashed me off the road. I finished fifth but still won the speedlist. I took it into other speedlists, just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke, even ranked ones, and consistently placed in the top three. It’s got the speed and handling, as well as the weight, so you aren’t flying to outer space when you hit a jump, and you aren’t as easy to spin out from other (dirty albeit) racers. It’s got all level 18 outlaw parts.

Please for all that is holy, go get one of these beasts. I can only imagine the look on their faces when they see “X6 M” at the top of the race standings.

I JUST SAW A MCLAREN 720S BUT IT WAS IN THE ONCOMING LANE ON THE HIGHWAY SO I COULDN’T GET A DAMN PICTURE-

How come I can’t post in the Garage? When I go into the community, it won’t let me write a post, and when I write a post in another community, and go to the top to change it, I can change the community that I post it in to any other EXCEPT the Garage. Did I do something wrong? Is my app busted? Someone that’s a mod, please see this, or at least someone tag a mod to see it. If anyone who isn’t a mod can help, please tell me how I can fix this, its quite frustrating…
