Hi! I got a 06 GT mustang with a 5spd manual transmission with a Hurst Shifter and I sometimes find it hard to shift from 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 4th specially when driving hard. I want to know if it’s my fault (maybe I need to use more strength on the shifter) or is it something normal with s197’s?
Have anyone noticed that in old 80’s themed movies jerks drive camaros? Like Henry Bowers from the new It movie and Billy from Stranger Things series, both drive a blue 2nd gen automatic camaro.
I want to know your opinions on Mustang’s with stickers. Does it looks too JDM? Can it still look retro with some stickers. I know It is my car and I decide but I really value you opinion. If you guy got photos of any mustang model with stickers posts them!
I turned the ac today and it will only blow through my defrost and black vents only (the ones on top of the normal vents) recently my car got wet thanks to some drain rubber. Water came in through the cabin air filter. Some forums say the ac problem has to do with the door actuator module. Got any ideas guys?

Hi! When I bought my mustang it came with a hurst shifter already installed, but my shift boot its pretty beat up and I want to replace it for a new one. Do you guys know if the hurst shift boot is the same model as the OEM? Do you guys know how to get the clip that retains the boot from the shifter? (The black one under the shift knob) Thanks in advance!
Hi! My 2006 GT mustang has long tube headers with no cats and obviously my check engine light is always on.
I want to know if installing antifoulers will help me out getting the check engine light to turn off. Will it affect my mpg in any way?
I’m not able to get a SCT or Bama tune for now so my only hope are the antifoulers.

Hi, I might have a noob question. What’s the difference between a supercharger that is mounted on top of our engines and the one that is mounted at the side. I already know the one on top has it’s own intake manifold and changes the throttle body’s place. But that’s the only difference I can find.
Hi, basically I would like to know if I can swap my mustang’s automatic rail for a manual one because I find it really unnecessary and sometimes frustrating dealing with it breaking up. Alsorepairs and parts are expensive.

My mustang 06 gt 5 speed was stalling every time I stepped hard on the gas pedal and the wrench light came on. The problem was the custom tune it had. Took the car to the ecu specialist and got it a stock reflash and it worked! Car runs like a charm. It worked after installing a new TB and edelbrock filter.

Hi! For those who followed my mustang recently I’m still looking for the fix on the TB and Idle problem.
But right now I’m looking for tips for driving my first manual mustang gt. As soon as I fix it it’s gonna be my new daily driver. After driving it for a while in traffic it get’s really hard to get it into first gear is it normal?
Hi, these is an update on my last post. I took my pony to the computer car center for a quick check up. The guy told me my car has a P2105 code (Throttle Actuator Control TAC system - forced engine shotdown). He cleared the code and reset my PCM. He told me to take my car for a ride to see if the problem’s fixed.
My madstang runs the same, the rpm’s in neutral are 1000rpm, and it continues to stall when I go hard on the throttle.
Any idea which could be the problem?
