1999 Mk1 Renault Megane : Head gasket failed.

2009 Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTI 130 : Boost pipe split and the DPF failed.

2012 Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTI 160 : Clutch and flywheel had to be replaced after only 50k miles.

2002 Ford Mondeo 2.0 Zetec : Fuel pump had a leek, a previous owner decided to cut the metal work above the fuel tank with and angle grinder to remove the fuel pump without dropping the tank out the bottom. The whole car stunk of petrol, was not pleasant on a hot day.

2006 Volkswagen Passat TDI : Clutch and flywheel had to be replaced due to high mileage. Was fine after this. Best car I’ve owned. Should not have sold it. 😭

2004 Ford Mondeo ST220: The Coil pack failed resulting in the rear catalytic converter failing. Could not find a replacement. 😡

2006 Honda Civic Sport 2.2 I-CDTI (current car) : it keeps destorying relays that control my headlight washers, It will Fail it’s MOT next week if i dont get it sorted.

Someone remind me why I like cars again? 😡

Can anyone give me an idea what your yearly spend is on your subaru? (Average MPG, servicing costs, tyres…) I want to know what i am eventually letting myself in for.
