Aristo VS Supra - Future Dreams?
So, these two nice things have popped up in my area, and if the stars align I might be able to get one of these in the future.
The Supra
It’s the disgustingly slow automatic N/A model, and is about $11,000 + tax. Auction grade 4, which is awesome, and this particular combo of auto tranny + 2JZ-GE happens to be the most reliable of the bunch, especially at a mere 120,xxx kilometres. Probably hits 100 from a dig in 8 seconds since it’s old…
but it looks so good
Plus, the dealer that stocks this thing is infamous for being a little shady.
BUT IT’S A SUPRA AHHH
The Aristo
For $1900 less than the Supra, this is significantly faster, but also significantly fatter. Which I don’t mind at all, to be honest. 137,000 kilometres might be a little bit of an issue, but it’s still a Toyota. Car doesn’t seem particularly shady either. Worse on fuel, but cheaper on insurance, not to mention it shares parts with the Lexus GS. Definitely a nice car with that “real” 2JZ under the hood.
So, what which car do you guys prefer?
Comments
Aristo! Boxy sedans are the shit, bro!
I wouldn’t call the Aristo boxy tbh… I reserve “boxy” for vehicles like the Volvo 240 and Nissan Stagea, which are actually super boxy… the Aristo is decently round imo xD
Man seriously under 170ks is good
SUPRAAAAA⚡️
Aristo
Aristo. It’s basically a 4 door Supra.
137k is nothing man
Aristo
Cause VIP, Drifter, family, race car life yo!
Aristo!!
Something 20 years older than both of these :D
But out of these two, I’d go Supra simply because of the fighter-jet style cockpit.
My friend knows a guy who has an Aristo with 1000+ horsepower 2jz and uses sequential gearbox.
