Yes, Ken Block's New Ford Escort Cosworth WRC Will Happily Destroy Tyres

Last week, serial drift addict and skate shoe bloke Ken Block wowed us with his latest ride. It’s another Ford Escort, and no ordinary Escort at that - it’s an ex-Group A WRC RS Cosworth. Oh yes.

Now, thanks to a new video from TheHoonigans, we get an up-close look at the car, where Block mentions it’s running “roughly 350 - 400 horspepower.” And yes, we also get to see it in action, doing some obligatory donuts.

We can’t wait to see more of this beast being driven in anger!

This car did not run WRC before 1993 so “fact” about wing is wrong.
Though, the Sierra used a lower version of it from 1987.

The moment when I notice that my WIP racecar has the same passenger footwell as Ken Block’s newly revealed rally car. What a happy coincidence!

This car is beautiful. It’s nice to see some classics being brought in to the modern day! On a side note, if you don’t watch the Hoonigan’s Daily Transmission series on youtube, then you should.

It might me capable of destroying tyres, but it cannot eat them like this. Back to the drawing board with that, Block.

Oh, the hungry CCX at Top Gear. Even Stig couldn’t control it’s need for tires!
