1985 Toyota Corolla 1.3 DX
Bone stock 1985 Corolla DX 1.3L
Seats hidden under seat covers for pretty much the car’s entire life. Took the covers off and the seats were practically new!
She had minimal rust when I bought her, and is now free from rust! She is now clean and polished body-wise.
The car has had a minor impact in the rear on the left, under the tail-light, owner probably backed it into a pole. This has been fixed! On the left front fender, was a dent, which has been fixed as well.
Arches had minimal rust, but fixed it before it got too bad.
Everything engine on this thing is stock, and has only traveled 95k KM(about 59k miles.)
I have a Yamaha R6 bike carburetor set that I was thinking about installing. Would greatly improve the sound this little 4-cyl makes when you open the throttle!
Shouldn’t be too hard of a job as this car already runs a carburetor setup.

That interior is so 80’s and I love it.
The previous owner has had covers over the seats since new. The seats are in mint condition!
Great looking rolla! Have an e8 hatch myself, and they are great fun to drive.
Last week i replaced all the vaccuum hoses of the carburetor and it showed major results as it was running to rich before and now even the econometer works.
Thanks! And that’s awesome! Checked out your Corolla, looks like it recently rolled off the assembly line! Love it! Love seeing these old ‘Yotas being taken care of!
It’s awesome how you take care of your Rolla! Great job!
Thanks!
4a-ge swap?
4a-ge would be cool, but it would be a shame to get rid of the engine that’s currently in it when it recently got serviced, and it only has 95k km on the clock.
Maybe some day I’ll swap one in, if I can find a decent one.
