Start stationary in a wide area where there are no trees or other objects to hit, a field is ideal.
Turn your handlebar fully to the left (or right) and give it just enough throttle to break traction and then a little more to keep it sliding.
Here come the crucial part (from personal experience, this is the most crucial) Keep your weight low and to the outside of your turn, this helps to keep the ATV from flipping.
You’ve done it! Now all you need to do to stop is counter steer to pull out of the drift.
