Game Up Your Ride with Performance Products by RaceChip for the Golf VII R and the Porsche Macan Turbo. Inspired by Need for Speed.

In the video, two production vehicles are configured as show cars and they then put on a race. But also in real life, both vehicles were indeed set up as show cars and underwent electronic performance enhancement thanks to RaceChip’s auxiliary control units.

In the video, two production vehicles are configured as show cars and they then put on a race. But also in real life, both vehicles were indeed set up as show cars and underwent electronic performance enhancement thanks to RaceChip’s auxiliary control units.

The Golf R comes equipped as standard with 300 hp and 380 Nm, and thanks to the chip tuning provided by the RaceChip Ultimate, this was boosted to 373 hp and 500 Nm. Chip tuning by the RaceChip Ultimate resulted in a power output of 480 hp and 680 Nm for the Porsche Macan Turbo, which comes from the factory with 400 hp and 550 Nm at its disposal.

Both vehicles were optically fitted out with a RaceChip foil that was designed by RaceChip designers and implemented by its partners SchwabenFolia and 2m Designs. Additional components of the vehicle configuration are chassis by KW suspensions, rims by Enkei and Vossen and an exhaust system by Edel01.

The video is the company’s most ambitious to date and was completely realized in-house, all the way from the initial concept to the final cut.

“Inspired by NFS”. Does that mean I will drift around every Corner by pulling the Handbrake and then letting the Car(Game) steer for me?

This is nuts! A couple of years and we can hopefully have this graphics on video games too.

That sound is so fake…shifting like 10 gears in 30 secs.

that was crap! right? I mean the shifting like in fast and furious like if they were a semi-truck with 18 gears, on the other side.. awesome footage

sorry but imo chiptuning is bullshit.
point 1: the 20-30 hp you get arent worth the money
point 2: your drivetrain has to handle a LOT more torque e.g : my c class diesel has 150hp and 300nm. chiptunig would get me about 380nm. 1. gear under full load there would be an ADDITIONAL 1000nm on the drivetrain.
to male them reliable you have to upgrade them. what is pretty expensive. (and in the end you have 30hp extra)
if you dont upgrade the perifery parts you will! blow them up early or late.
point 3: since we are car guys and the modding will ever be a part of our life we should save some money and do a propper turbo swap, NA tuning, camshaft , or whatever te get more power . and we should make shure the engine is still reliable.
so guys:
go save some money and make it propper instead of stressing your components massiclvely for just a few more hp
