Is the Dodge Viper Really as Dangerous as Everyone Says?

Remote video URL

I wanted to find out if the Dodge Viper is really as dangerous as everyone says — so I took it out in some rather difficult weather. Read my column or watch the video above to see what happens.

The viper isn’t dangerous, it’s just that people that buy Chryslers can’t drive

Pretty predictable results, but an important video for a particular audience. Good ending bit!

Compleatly predictable results… I once got stuck in a freak snow storm on my way back from Pittsburgh in my Corvette. Started out in Pittsburgh and it was 45 to 50 degrees… an hour into my trip home it had dropped to 30 degrees and by the time I was about 45 minutes away from home there was about 3 to 4 inches of snow on the road. As long as your real gentle with it, nothing bad is going to happen. However, anything over just touching the throttle or the breaks was enough to upset the car. Side to side traction was great. Front to back traction… ehh… not so much.
