High Revving VW 2.5 N/A build

I am looking at building a VW 2.5 as a N/A high revving engine. I am hoping for somewhere around 240hp. Are there any manufacturers that you know of that make upgrade parts such as intake, exhaust headers, cams, valvetrain, etc. ? Are there any shops in the south-east U.S. that tune N/A VWs? Any help is appreciated.

Look at the forums 240 seems a bit optimistic, but with a short runner intake manifold, oversized valves and what not you might get close but why not just go turbo

If I go turbo I will have to use a higher octane which is not easy where I live (rural Alabama). AMD if I turbo it my monthly insurance bill will more than double since I am a male under 25yo.

Also could water-meth act like cheap nitrous in a N/A build?

water methanol injection acts as higher octane fuel and its primary purpose is to advance timing while running more boost where nos is denser than air and acts like boost

Don’t waste money in water-meth. In a NA is useless, it’s better using a mix of gas/meth to raise the compression ratio and spark advance without knocking, but the meth will break your fuel pump, fuel lines injectors…
240 hp in a 2.5 liter isn’t easy or cheap to reach. Is less than 100hp/liter. But a 100hp/liter NA engine also needs high octane fuel…

Isn’t easy but not impossible! I mean, here in Argentina we can reach 225 hp from a 1.8 liter na, i’m building a 1.8 hoping 170 hp with ITB’s. Is not easy but not impossible.
