The RS7 that blew up your social feed last week

A couple of days ago Russian car tuning company Total Race uploaded a video on their instagram profile.

That video was quickly downloaded and shared on lots of social media channels. Therefore generating lots of hype, especially the sick turbo setup made people go crazy.

But actually...

the video that was uploaded is over 2 years old by now. But some of the mechanics and total race instagram page managers decided to upload it just for fun. And this is obviously when everything exploded, including my inbox with people who wanted to know more about the car since I am Russian.

Over 1000 horses of AWD madness

Okay, to be precise the actual figures are 942 hp AT THE WHEELS. This makes 1086 hp on the crank if you take almost 20% drivetrain power loss. Visual aid for proof:

Those are Veyron numbers. So are the other very important 0-60mph/0-100 km/h numbers: 2.5 seconds.

Obviously to achieve such numbers, you have to do more than just a ECU remap and aftermarket exhaust installation. Pretty much everything has been changed, full engine internals and cooling system upgrade, gearbox reinforcement (and cooling), the engine management and obviously the huge turbo chargers you have seen on the instagram video.

Quartermile time? 10.1 sec.
