Car Scene in Portugal

Portugal… A beautiful country, great people, very good food, and a lot of nice cars. Altough that some of the tipical tuning cars in Portugal look like these ones, we really have great projects.

We do have a passion for cars, it is something that we cant explain to the rest of the world, and i am not talking about just Portugal, i am talking about us the Car Guys, its a little bit like love, only more expensive.

Sorry about the rambling out of the topic, but now talking about the car scene here, yeah you have a lot of ricers, and i mean Ricers with a big R, like your tipical Honda with a 4 inch fart can, and your VW Polo with a pod filter and some stickers because why the hell not, it adds 20 hp per sticker that says, “at least mine is paid” and “my car is louder then your mom last night”, but we have cars like this Alfa Romeo Brera, that is simple, but sooooo elegant, i mean you could even arrive in a tuxedo and you would be the one that every people would look, not the guy that arrived in the Ferrari 360 Modena.

And you have your JDM cars, like Nissans 180 sx ( because we dont even have the 240 sx, goddamit), and we have Skylines, GT-Rs, Silvias, you name it, and not all of them are stanced, some are actually driven to their “bones”.

We even have a track in the North of Portugal, called Guilhabreu that it is amazing, you only pay 1 euro and you can drift arround the track or you can drag race, oh and also you have the drift taxis that are a blast.

All and all, it doesnt matter if you like huge unessesary wings, or if you like that really nice fitment, or if like to trash a car around, if and when you come to Portugal, you will have a really nice time my friends.

Indeed it is, but, normally here in Portugal the police has specific locations to have like those check stops so people just chose different roads. Every year we also have the anual vehicle inspection and for a guy like me, when swapping your exhaust just keep the factory one and its ok!
