bhr midpipe with cat or without?

I’m getting a bhr midpipe and I’m debating whether to get one with the catalyst or not. Is there a distinct sound difference at all?

Im not too sure but the cat will quiet it a bit. Really it depends on your current exhaust setup. As an example: i removed my muffler and am now looking into getting a midpipe. Im planning on getting the RacingBeat dual resonated for 3 reasons:

  1. Its resonated so it wont be as loud as some other midpipes.
  2. No rasp like other midpipes.
  3. No catalyst so there is still a power increase.
    BONUS- it shoots flames!!

The catalyst on aftermarket midpipes usually only last 5-20k miles on the RX8 because they cant handle the high temps of the rotary engine.
