Daihatsu Charmant mk2. A good car?

So here i sometimes post again on a question what are the pros and cons of a car. I really love the 80’s and the Daihatsu Charmant is one of those cars I really love from those times. Sharing it’s genes with the corolla k70 it makes a great little sedan. Recently near me i’ve seen one for sale has some work on it and seems pretty interesting. Of course I know the rust problems with older japanese cars cause the one i’m looking at has seen better days in case of it’s bodywork.

So here’s my question to all you guys! Do you have any experience with these Daihatsu’s? And what’s good about them and what’s less. Thanks in advance my fellow CTzens!!
