Rims size / weight

Does anyone know the weight of stock NA 1990 rims? (Swiss/EU)
And any advice about ET on 15x7 Jr3/jr12/rpf1? Mine is totally stock but I’m looking after rims and lowering for street/ (some trackday) use.

This will answer all of your questions on stock wheel weights. I’m pretty sure all mk1-mk2.5 wheels are included: https://www.miata.net/faq/wheel_weights.html

Not sure about wheels you’ve suggested, but if you don’t want to roll arches I wouldn’t go below ET20-25.

Also, just make sure you buy something light, the difference is great.

Thank you ! Yeah I heard that unsuspended weight counts a lot in handing and comfort…

Best street size is 15x8 hands down. You can run cheaper 205s or bigger 225s and you get tons of grip with either (depending in the tire of course)

I was looking for 15x7 for price and not rolling arches, but I’ll look in 15x8 too

Enkei RPF1 are some of the best for Miatas. Just dont go bigger than 15 inches. It will upset the handling.

Thanks, I planned 15 already because of budget, comfort, look (I dont like when it’s too big), weight, and what I heard about handling like you said !

I’m going to compare rpf1 with jr3 and jr12, hadn’t much time yet, and choose 👌
