1969 Ford F100 Custom Cab

Originally purchased by my Great Grandpa in 1969. Used as a working farm truck in South Dakota until his passing. My Dad brought it back to Oregon and replaced the original 360cu.in. V8 with a 390cu.in. V8. This is the vehicle I learned to drive stick with. I inherited it after I graduated high school in 2013. I plan to fully restore it someday.
Engine: 390 V8
Transmission: Borg-Warner T-18 with crawler 1st gear
Other notes: Still has the open diff.

They’re just about the easiest car to work on if it’s going to be your first project. I daily drove this in Portland Oregon traffic for over a year before I bought my Mustang. They’re very simple but a ton of fun and you can swap out the drivetrain for anything. I’ve personally seen one with the drivetrain from a 2016 Mustang, it was pretty crazy.
