Which Car Makes The Best Noise: BMW 1M Or M235i?
Since the BMW M2 is almost with us, we thought we'd prepare ourselves by taking the coupe's two closest relatives out for a drive. Which do you think makes the best noise?
The 1M uses an N54 twin-turbo 3.0-litre straight-six, while the M235i has the later twin-scroll turbo 3.0-litre N55. The full feature on these two cars is coming soon, but for now, give the video a watch and cast your vote!

The M235i. I heard a bit of Turbo Whistle, kind o f like a Subaru Boxer has it (I think it’s the 9th Generation, not sure though)
1M just looks like an original and M235i as its copy if you understand meSo 1M is my choice and that 1M’s engine has better sound in my opinion
Actually it’s a twinturbo straight-six. But I agree with you, it sounds better.
I do prefer the 1m as well however I think that the M235i sounds better.

1M sounds more throaty, I think the M2 will be bonkers though
