After pitting them head-to-head over the course of a lap, the guys at Cars.co.za decided to see which of these two AWD V8 heavyweights is faster in a straight line. The result is one seriously close race!

I would not consider you safe in the Jag… Looks like you can be tailgated till about 100mph, and in the states there is no where to go 100+.

A wagon vs a coupe and only this little margin pfff this Jag is a joke if you compare weight with performance the RS6 is ahead by a mile.

It lost. The Jag has slightly less power but is also nearly 1/3 of a ton lighter.

Looking at choosing between these cars next year, so loving the tests - think the Audi would have won both if they used Audi’s launch control
