My First Car, Opel Astra G Njoy
My first car, the 2003 Opel Astra G 1.8 Njoy
Do you remember back when you bought your first car? That feeling of freedom, independence, spending all your money on the car and finally being the racing driver you were born to be? Exactly that’s what I just recently did, well recently, about three months ago, I bought my first car: The mighty and sensible Opel Astra G with the 1.8 petrol engine.
I know what you’re thinking, it’s actually a quite boring choice and as I just discovered, a quite popular car amongst the elderly people here in Switzerland. So I basically drive a used, cheap Honda Jazz disguised as an Opel. And that feeling confirmed itself as I first started the car up an wanted to check if there was a CD left from the previous owner. Guess what? There was. It wasn’t what I hoped for, but I’m quite into classic trumpet orchestras now, as it seems.
My particular car came with the Njoy trim and I have to say its decent. It has all the most important things: electrical windows up front, AC, Radio (which I changed for a newer model with DAB,USB and Bluetooth) and even electric adjustable mirrors. It even rides on some nice 17 inch alloys which I quite like the look from and having slightly tinted lights on the front and back from factory, makes it look that bit more modern and sporty. The build quality isn’t really up to Rolls Royce standards, but as you say what you didn’t experience you cannot miss, so therefore I’m happy the with the way it’s built.
Of course I have much more to say about my car, but I also run my own car website, so I pretty much need to do it like the tv commercials and tv series. You already guessed it. The rest of my blog you will find on my website with beautiful pictures as well.

In my country most these have fart cans and are 1.4 usually with lpg and very loud sound system blasting with the windows open of course
Haha well thats one way to do it, but it is true there are a lot of differences in cars etc. between countries but I am still very proud of my car and every one should be of their own car. Blasting stereo is the way to go haha
