1986 325e' - Anyone have decent knowledge of where this wire connects?

my diagram of 1986 325e' wiring harness

cooling temp sensor in thermostat housing with only one female connector available.

Hi, at the final stage of rebuilding a 1986 325e’ that I bought with a bent valve, all’s good except I can’t find anywhere where this oil pressure sensor connects. I’ve got one severed wire coming off the harness (see diagram “severed”) and also missing a connector to the coolant temp sensor. 2 missing wires, only one. previous butt connectors make color coding impossible. Any geniuses out there?

nah, pretty sure that the oil pressure sensor must connect to somewhere, I’m guessing on the harness. because the sensor reports back to a dashboard light if you loose oil pressure. I just can’t find another severed wire except for the one I assumed was the second line to the coolant temp sensor. doesn’t seem like anyone has 325e’s on these forums, not sure if the i’s would be the same…..

I figured it out thanks to some research over at R3Vlimited . the heat shrink wrapping was hiding a severed wire that had recessed back unseen. Maybe someone else’ll find this post and have their question answered.
