Hi. Anyone having this type of style bar? Please, help me.

The previous owner of my Miata installed this kind of style bar on my Miata. As I have long legs I’d like to set the seat as far from the pedals as possible, but I can’t because the bar is on the way. Therefore I’m going to remove it. I found a nice step-by-step tutorial on an internet forum, but the guy had a different bar. Most people advise to reverse the installation steps, so just to be sure, could someone send me a picture of the installation guide, please? Thank you very much.

Aren’t these just bolted in with two screws? One each side?

My windbreaker thing is bolted to the same spots your style bar is, I guess you just have to remove those, since it’s only a style bar :D

Actually, unlike the bar in the picture, my bar has also two more screw holes in the centre, but those haven’t luckily been used. It’s probably the same attachment than with the windbreaker. Thanks.

Had the Same bar. Just remove the screws in centre and on each side.

I am not sure but i think that the centre screws aren’t needed anymore.

Don’t be scared to remove it

The guide I mentioned advised to dismantle the “seatbelt guide things”. So I’m not going to have to do that? Thanks.

Just remove it. It’s four screws max. Nothing hidden with these. I took my one on my old mk2 out and sold it.

It’s not a safety feature anyway, more of a mousetrap ;)

That’s what I heard about safety. But it’s more important to me to release some extra leg room. Thanks.
