Always check for wear, even if apparently there is nothing wrong! (details in description) - General Mechanical Advice

This is a “anti-roll bar arm joint”.

The rubber part from the middle was already gone on the OEM one …
Also the bolt was ALOT thinner on the OEM part …
Old bolt broke when trying to get it off carefully!

Replacing the part:

  • Buying two pcs. of the one seen on the left will set you back ~€10,-
  • Buying two pcs. of the one on the right … € 35,-

—> That’s what you pay for in car parts, cheap VS quality!

I was at my mechanics place because I had to get my lower ball joint replaced, and while getting the old LBJ out we noticed this rusty piece of sh… metal!
At first, I was shocked by the price tag of the two new ones compared to prices online … but I changed my mind after seeing the expensive one.
