1966 Corvair Monza, with larger 140ci engine from the Corsa model. Nitrided crank, bored cylinders with 88mm VW pistons, custom grind camshaft, HEI ignition, 4 Weber-style carburetors, VW throttle linkage, ported/polished heads, 10:1 compression.

HD springs and Koni adjustable shocks, disc brakes on all four corners: Wilwood 4-piston calipers on 12.25” rotors. ASA GT06 17x8 wheels.

How does it drive? Does it handle well?

Handles like a go-kart. Just put sticky tires on it today and it’s neck-snappingly quick in the twisties. They’re not fast as far as horsepower goes (this one is about 150hp at 2400 pounds) but they can out-corner most street cars when set up properly.
