Any 1.0 ecoboost guys out there removed that heat shield from around the turbo?

Thinking about removing it to make the engine bay look a little tidier, I know it serves a good purpose but it can’t cause too much harm removing it for shows/meets though

As i said i know it serves a purpose but surely taking it off at a meet wouldnt do no harm. Obviously i wouldnt drive around with it off

That’s a busy little turbo, I’d leave well alone myself

If i was in your position i would only take it of at meets. Imo a turbo looks much better than some heat shield!
