Watch The Heartwarming Moment A Father Taught His Blind Son How To Shift Gears

This guy thought he'd teach his blind and autistic son how to use a manual gearbox, resulting in this brilliant feel-good video

I’m sure most of us here are manual gearbox fans, but what we have here is proof that even if you can’t drive, nothing beats rowing through the gears. When uploading this video, Omar Chavez said: “My kiddo loves going for rides in our Subaru WRX STI and I figured I would show him how to shift gears. As you can see we both had a blast!” - we definitely can see that!

Press play and get ready to have your heart warmed.

Some fluid leaks out of my tear ducts. Any idea why? Do i need to replace the whole pipe line?

A little leak every now and then is fine, just top the reservoir off. You only need to be worried if it all suddenly pours out

Well you don’t see any fathers teaching their blind sons how to shift an automatic gear stick from P to D.. That’d be just sad.

Replace the blind and autistic son to a 10 year old with high functioning autism, then replace the WRX STi with a Mazda E1800i work van and that was me 13 years ago. Ended up having a system to do it rather efficiently
