Watch The F80 BMW M3 Take On The DTM Version Of Its E30 Granddad
Sport Auto put DTM driver Johnny Cecotto behind the wheel of a 1992 E30 M3 race car followed by the new F80 M3, to see which is quicker on track
Sport Auto’s test took place on the short circuit configuration at Hockenheim, Germany. The E30 M3 DTM car clocked the quickest time with a 1min 9.1sec lap, with the F80 M3 crossing the line after 1min 13.1sec.
