Watch Chris Harris Give The New BMW M2 Competition A Thorough Thrash

You’ll be waiting until 18 January to see the new series of The Grand Tour, and probably even longer to see the next Top Gear outing. Frustrating, isn’t it?

Thankfully, if you’re feeling impatient, TG’s Chris Harris has a bunch of Chris Harris Drives episodes up his sleeve, and the first one is a good’un. It features the new BMW M2 Competition, and yes, it’s taken sideways. A lot.

We enjoyed our time with the M2 Competition recently, and it seems Harris is a fan too. Unlike most Competition-spec BMWs - which usually involve a small power bump and not much else - the M2 has been given an M4 engine transplant, which makes a huge difference to the driving experience.
