The footage of a stolen dumper truck rampage has been released by police, with the chase causing £50,000 worth of damage
Nicholas Churchill was jailed for 14 months after stealing a dumper truck and leading police on a 30-mile chase through Norfolk and Suffolk in the UK in July 2015.
The rampage lasted two hours and he caused £50,000 worth of damage, destroying two police cars and damaging another. He admitted at Norwich Crown Court to aggravated vehicle-taking and dangerous driving, as well as driving while unfit through drugs.

14 months? Wow. Here in the US he would have been in for a long time.
Why dump trucks are often yellow?
Maybe so they “stick out” in traffic (or just in general) without needing lights and siren like emergency-vehicles.
Same reason many working-clothes have reflective stripes on them and/or in orange or bright green.
