Watch A Pipeline Explosion Wreck A Bunch Of Parked Cars

Apparently, the pipeline seen here failing rather dramatically had a life cycle of only 25 years. It hadn’t been used for 37, but regardless, Kiev city officials thought it’d be a great idea to flood it with water as part of a series of infrastructure tests.

An eyewitness claimed the resulting fountain of muddy water reached seven storeys in height, showing a group of parked vehicles with dirt, concrete and tarmac.

As you’ll see in the footage above (no, we don’t understand the music choice either), the vehicles didn’t look too pretty after the incident.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. An investigation is reportedly underway.
